Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer with a focus on shipbuilding and marine engineering, you will be a key contributor to the planning, design, and development of advanced electrical systems and equipment. The role requires an individual who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and is motivated to elevate technology solutions to the next level. You will work on a variety of exciting projects for well-known developers in the industry, utilizing your expertise to develop systems that contribute to the success of shipbuilding and marine engineering operations.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and designing power supply and marine engineering systems for various projects.
  • Independently developing and constructing hand tools, operating equipment, or integrating electronic or mechatronic systems.
  • Designing and procuring electrotechnical equipment for marine engineering projects.
  • Preparing conceptual designs and performing technical and commercial comparisons for electrical power generation and distribution.
  • Analyzing and assessing the performance of electrical systems and equipment.

Qualification

Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical Field or Relevant Field.

Skill & Experience
  • Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechatronic systems, or an equivalent education.
  • Business fluent in German and proficient in English.
  • Proficient in using common MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of PLC control S7 and EPLAN is desirable.
  • Experience in electrical design, electrical drive systems, and EMC testing is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
