Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fixture Technician to join our installation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate installation, maintenance, and fitting of steel fixtures and components across residential, commercial, or industrial projects. This role requires precision, physical strength, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

- Install and fix steel components such as brackets, railings, frames, supports, signage, partitions, etc.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and installation manuals
- Operate tools and equipment for cutting, welding, grinding, and drilling
- Measure and mark layout for fixtures with high accuracy
- Collaborate with site engineers and other trades for seamless installations
- Conduct post-installation checks to ensure quality and safety standards
- Maintain tools and report equipment or material needs
- Follow all company and site safety policies and procedures

Qualification

- Vocational training or certification in metal fabrication or welding
- Experience in construction or interior fit-out projects
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of structural steel and decorative metalwork

Skill & Experience

- Proven experience in steel installation or related metalwork (2+ years preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with power tools, welding equipment, and metal fabrication machinery
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices
- Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy steel components
- Willingness to travel to job sites, work flexible hours if needed
