Job Description

- Clean and disinfect hospital facilities.
- Dispose of medical waste safely.
- Restock supplies and report maintenance issues.
- Follow infection control protocols.
- Hours: Shifts vary from 7 to 12 hours, starting at 6:30 AM or 8:00 AM, with potential for overtime.
Responsibilities
- Working as a sanitation stuff in a hospital. 250-300 hours monthly.
- Care for bedridden patients, assisting with hygienic care and transporting food to the ward.
- Perform basic disinfection of premises and prepare medical supplies for sterilization.
- Assist patients with meals, serve tea, and provide first aid as per professional knowledge.
- Collaborate with other medical personnel.
Qualification
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional training or certification in sanitation procedures, infection control, and basic healthcare practices may be provided on the job or through vocational programs.
Skill & Experience
Hospital sanitation staff require skills in hygiene, disinfection, patient care, food handling, first aid, teamwork, attention to detail, adaptability, continuous learning, and cultural sensitivity.
