Job Description

The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, checking guests in and out of the hotel, answering inquiries, making reservations, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, with a warm smile, and make them feel welcome.
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel using the hotel’s computer system.
  • Verify and collect guest payments and handle cash and credit card transactions.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries in a polite and professional manner.
  • Take reservations for guests, and process changes to existing reservations.
  • Assist guests with their luggage and escort them to their rooms.
  • Inform guests about hotel facilities and services, including restaurants, bars, fitness center, and pool.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the lobby and back office.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager.

Qualification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
