A reputable shipbuilding company in Berlin, Germany is seeking skilled and experienced Ship Welders to join their team. This role involves performing welding and soldering tasks on various shipbuilding projects. The company is looking for individuals who have a solid background in welding and are capable of working with various materials in a shipbuilding environment. The position is located in Hamburg and Berlin, offering an exciting opportunity for those with the necessary skills to contribute to significant shipbuilding projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and soldering tasks on various parts of ships and ship machinery.
- Work with different types of materials, ensuring high-quality welding and soldering for structural integrity and durability.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in a shipbuilding environment.
- Conduct inspections and tests on welded structures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete shipbuilding projects efficiently and within deadlines.
- Follow detailed technical instructions and blueprints to execute welding and soldering tasks.
Qualification
- Minimum education level of 12th grade (secondary school) is required.
Skill & Experience
- Strong background in welding and soldering, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Arc welding).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Good knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in shipbuilding and welding.
- Basic knowledge of German (A1 level) and moderate English communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
